Site Council - if you would like to be more involved in our school, please consider joining the Site Council.  The last meeting for this year will be on May 15th at 4:30 PM.  We will be holding elections for new positions.  Site Council is an extension of the MUSD Board and an advisory committee to principal.  Site Council is not involved in fundraising, rather the focus is on school improvement, school progress, and overview of the school budget including tax credit.  The next meeting will also include a review of Title I plan for 2017-2018 school year.

Muffins for Mom - come and enjoy light breakfast with your students right before Mother’s Day

Water Day - all students must have a signed permission slip and stay in good behavior standing in order to participate in our annual event.  If you have not signed a permission slip, please see an attached copy.  We are looking for parent volunteers to help out with the event. Here are a few reminders for a safe Water Day:

·  Sunscreen should be put on prior to coming to school

·  Two piece swimsuits must have a cover up

·  All students must have shoes to participate.  Water shoes are preferred.  Students will get their shoes wet!

·  Please have our younger students come in with their swimsuit on

·  Remember to bring a change of clothes and a towel
